About The Sight of Stars makes me dream

Lena Schmid-Tupou’s artistic work thrives on the impressions she gains on her forays into nature. While walking and hiking, forms, structures, colors and lines open up to her, which later find their way into Schmid-Tupou’s paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics and glass sculptures. She transforms her impressions and memories, hardly distinguishing between the outer and inner landscape. Schmid-Tupou works in series in order to delve deeply into every subject she dedicates to.

In her exhibition “The sight of stars makes me dream”, Lena Schmid-Tupou shows glass sculptures that refer to paintings from the “Interfaces” series and the “Silfra” series.
She will also publish her new catalogue, which will show a selection of works from 2018 to 2021.
